While many veterinary clinics are currently facing a shortage of brucellosis (Bangs) vaccine, we’re happy to share some good news—Dr. Ben Galbreath planned ahead and secured vaccine doses early, ensuring that our clients still have access to this important protection for their herds.
Brucellosis is a highly contagious reproductive disease in cattle that can lead to significant herd losses. Vaccinating eligible heifers is a crucial step in protecting both your operation and our state's brucellosis-free status.
Key Updates for Producers:
We currently have Brucellosis (Bangs) vaccine available.
The North Dakota Board of Animal Health has extended the vaccination age window from 12 to 14 months, now effective through June 11, 2025, to help producers during this shortage.
We’re happy to schedule additional eligible heifers—just give us a call!
When it comes to your herd's health, you can count on us to stay ahead, so you don’t fall behind.
📞 Call your nearest clinic in Oakes, Ellendale, or Edgeley to schedule today!
